JSP Series Cast Iron Self-Priming Jet Pump

The FENGHE JSP Series is a range of self-priming jet pumps developed for clean-water lifting and pressure applications requiring higher flow and head options. Compared with the stainless steel JS Series, JSP models use a robust cast iron pump body and cover a wider performance range for wells, storage tanks, irrigation and domestic pressure systems.

The range includes JSP100A, JSP255A, JSP355A, JSP505A and JSP505B. Depending on the selected model, maximum flow ranges from approximately 45 to 95 L/min, while maximum head ranges from approximately 42 to 72 m. Maximum suction lift can reach 8 m under suitable installation conditions. Maximum flow and maximum head occur at different operating points, and actual output depends on the complete installation.

Cast Iron Construction

The cast iron pump body provides a durable structure for general clean-water installations. JSP models are suitable where buyers require a practical self-priming pump with higher head and flow options than smaller domestic jet pumps.

The series is intended for clean, non-aggressive water without sand, fibers or abrasive solids. It is not intended for chemicals, seawater or flammable liquids unless the materials and operating conditions have been separately evaluated.

Self-Priming and Installation

The jet-pump design supports self-priming operation after the pump chamber and suction line have been filled correctly. The pump must not be operated dry. For reliable suction, the inlet pipe should be airtight, correctly sized and as short as practical. Install a suitable foot valve when required.

Connection options include 1 × 1 inch or 1.25 × 1 inch, depending on the selected model. Pipe size, suction depth, elbows, valves and delivery height can all affect operating performance.

Model Selection

Select the pump according to required flow, total dynamic head, suction depth, connection size, voltage, frequency and expected operating time. Do not select a JSP model by motor power alone.
